Rádio Comercial Dance streams nonstop dance and pop dance music from Lisbon, a themed digital spinoff of Portugal's most listened radio station. It is free to listen right now, anywhere in the world, no account required.
Born From a 2018 Digital Expansion
Rádio Comercial Dance grew out of a broader push by Rádio Comercial to build out its digital presence. In July 2018, the flagship station moved into a new studio and announced a lineup of themed web radio stations, splitting specific genres and moods out of its general hit radio format into their own dedicated streams. Dance was one of the genres chosen for that split, giving listeners who wanted continuous club and dance pop a stream separate from the flagship's broader entertainment and news mix.
Part of Portugal's Biggest Radio Portfolio
Rádio Comercial itself has held the top spot in Portugal's radio ratings for over a decade, and its digital portfolio, including Dance, passed to German media group Bauer Media in 2022 when Bauer acquired Media Capital's radio division for 69.6 million euros. That deal brought roughly 30 digital radio stations and more than 60 podcasts under Bauer's ownership, with Dance remaining one of the more straightforward entries in that catalog, built purely around keeping a dance floor moving rather than news or talk.
