Among its early talent were Merrick and Rosso, who were recruited from Triple J to host breakfast. The move signalled that Sydney's commercial dial had room for a younger, more irreverent voice, and the station has since become a central part of Australian hit radio. It carries the call sign 2SYD and broadcasts at 150 kW.
