ENERGY Hit Music Only streams current pop and chart hits as the national DAB+ digital feed of ENERGY in Germany, the network that brought France's biggest radio brand across the border more than three decades ago. It is free to listen right now, anywhere in the world, no account required.
The NRJ Group's First Step Into Germany
ENERGY's German story starts on August 12, 1991, when the French NRJ Group launched Energy Berlin on 103.4 FM, its first ever move into the German-speaking market, according to a history of the brand on dewiki.de. That single Berlin signal grew into a network of local ENERGY stations across German cities, with marketing for the brand centralized under ENERGY Media GmbH since 1996 and the NRJ Group holding a majority stake in most of them, Energy Bremen and Energy Sachsen being the notable exceptions.
One Slogan Becomes the Digital Station's Name
"Hit Music Only" has been ENERGY's German tagline for years, and the brand's dedicated DAB+ digital stream wears that slogan directly as its name, ENERGY Hit Music Only. Rather than tying listeners to one city's FM signal, this feed gives the network's chart-driven format a single national home on digital radio, carrying the same hit-focused promise the local stations have run with since 1991.
