Antenne Bayern Lovesongs streams a continuous run of romantic ballads and love songs, classic and contemporary, pulled from the webradio catalogue of Germany's most listened private radio station. It streams free right now, anywhere, no account needed.
A Side Channel From Bavaria's Biggest Broadcaster
Lovesongs is one of dozens of genre specific webradio streams run by Antenne Bayern, the Ismaning based private broadcaster that went on air for the first time on September 5, 1988. The flagship station almost launched under a different name entirely, Radio Bayern, before public broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk objected that the name was too close to its own programming, forcing the rebrand to Antenne Bayern that stuck, according to German Wikipedia's history of the station. Nearly four decades later, Antenne Bayern has grown into the country's widest reaching private radio network, and its webradio platform now splits listeners by mood and genre rather than funneling everyone into one broad daily lineup, with channels like Relax, Oldies but Goldies and Lovesongs each built for a specific kind of listening session.
A Single Mood, Nonstop
Where the flagship signal mixes current hits with news, weather and traffic for Bavaria, Lovesongs strips all of that away and keeps the focus on one thing: romantic music, without talk breaks or chart chasing. The approach mirrors how the network built its other side channels, letting a specific mood, whether that is relaxation, nostalgia or romance, run as its own always on stream rather than competing for airtime on the main station.
