Despite that reach, the company's registered Baar location lists only four employees, and it operates as a member of SUISA, the Swiss rights collection agency responsible for compensating the artists whose music runs across 1.FM's dozens of genre-specific channels, Top Rap included.

Baar sits inside the canton of Zug, a jurisdiction that has built its modern identity around low taxation rather than music culture.
